You can enjoy good cutlery for a long time.
But you need to give it some attention and care.
All WMF cutleries in the original WMF alloy of Cromargan® are dishwasher-safe.
For preserving the beauty of your cutlery, observe some tips for care:
1. After every usage clean your cutlery of gross leftovers – never leave it dirty for a longer time.
2. Do not soak cutlery or leave it wet for some longer time.
3. When you clean cutlery in the dishwasher, put the pieces without sorting and with the handle down into the basket. You will avoid scratches by rinsing cutleries of different kind separately from one another.
4. After the rinse cycle has been completed, take your cutlery out of the dishwasher as soon as possible and wipe it dry, if necessary. If this is not possible, please open the door of the dishwasher, so that the vapour can draw off and no dampness will accumulate.
5. We recommend running a rinse cycle with the empty dishwasher after refilling dishwasher salt.
Use only high-class washing-up liquids and observe the instructions on the package, so that you will always achieve a glossy result.

WMF pure silver and perfect hard silver-plated cutleries are uncomplicated in daily use.
They are dishwasher-safe.
For special care observe the instructions in the columns “Silver-Plated” and “Pure Silver”. If your silver cutlery was not used for some longer time, we recommend WMF Purargan® silver polish.
